LAHORE: (Friday, July 19, 2024): Chief Executive Officer of National Productivity Organization (NPO) Engineer Muhammad Alamgir has called on Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood at his office. PU Academic Staff Association Vice President Dr Ghalib Atta was also present. In the meeting, Engineer Muhammad Alamgir informed the VC about the goals and objectives of the Federal Ministry of Industry and Production. He said that it is his institutional responsibility to guide the efficiency of production in the service and manufacturing sectors. NPO is the local representative organization of Japan’s Asian Productivity Organization consisting of 21 countries. The VC Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood stressed the need to hold a seminar by ORIC and Academic Staff Association to benefit from the professional expertise of the National Productivity Organization. A road map will be worked out to provide better services with resources, less cost and less time, he added.
