In response to a directive from the Vice Chancellor University of the Punjab, Punjab University Library has enthusiastically embraced the "Plant for Pakistan" Tree Plantation Campaign 2024. Chief Librarian Dr. Muhammad Haroon Usmani kicked off the campaign by planting the inaugural tree.

This initiative encourages library staff and students to contribute to a greener campus by participating in tree planting activities. The campaign underscores the university's commitment to environmental sustainability and aims to mitigate climate change impacts.
