The Centre for South Asian Studies (CSAS), University of the Punjab, Lahore organized a One Day Seminar on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, to pay homage and tribute to the Holy Prophet (PBUH). Mr. Hafiz Khawar Riaz, Visiting Faculty at Social Work Department, University of the Punjab, Lahore was the Guest Speaker at the occassion. He delivered his talk on سیرت النبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اور آپ کی بعثت کا مقصد. The event was started with the recitation of the Holy Quran. In his keynote address, Hafiz Khawar enlightened the different aspects of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) life. He said that the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is a divine blessing for all of humanity and His (PBUH) life serves as a model of obedience to Allah, justice, compassion, and love. He emphasized upon the facts to follow the practices of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) which gives us the fundamental guidelines to live a successful life. The event concluded with the prayers for unity, peace, guidance for all of humanity, the prosperity of Muslim Ummah & Pakistan.
