Lahore: (Friday, November 7, 2025): Punjab University’s Department of Fine Arts organized the thesis exhibition of BFA-2025 students, showcasing the artworks of 54 students. On this occasion, PU VC Prof Dr Muhammad Ali, Secretary Higher Education Department Punjab Ghulam Farid, Chairperson Department of Fine Arts Dr Sumera Jawad, faculty members, and students were present. While interacting with the participating students, PU VC Prof Dr Muhammad Ali appreciated their creative ideas. He said that such activities help enhance students’ confidence and added that the university will continue to play its role in promoting students’ creative abilities. Dr Sumera Jawad said that the purpose of the exhibition is to prepare students according to the evolving demands of the time. She added that the students presented objects made from locally sourced materials, which is commendable. She also stated that the Department of Fine Arts at Punjab University has produced many renowned artists who are serving at national and international levels.
